Surfside Building Colapse

 I was 30 years old in 1981 when I moved to South Florida. I was a carpenter there to validate the extreme economic pressures of the Mid West and celebrate the drug fueled economy of South Florida. Buildings were popping up everywhere. Also significant was the new legislation passed referred to as the Threshold Act. This law stemmed from the collapse of a 6 story building under construction that fell to the ground. Later determined the failure was not poor construction but rather a design flaw called "punch through". Punch through describes the shearing of the slabs at column locations. In addition to the Threshold Act this was the time that Post Tensioned Concrete Slabs became popular in Condo Design. Architects were attracted to the increased spans between supports that allowed greater spans without increases in slab thickness. To me the carpenter I witnessed the difference between a typical rebar slabs where reinforcing steel of various diameters cross up in a basket type application near the top and bottom of the slabs. Known as top mat and bottom mat. Bars would often be spaced 8 to 10 inches as structural engineers calculated. The advent of Post Tensioned Slabs eliminated the need for  much of this rebar and spacing between cables would often be 4 feet. The cables were very strong 7 stranded and impossible to bend by hand. The cables stretched the length of the building with tails extending 4ft beyond the edge of building. After concrete testing indicated strength of 3000 psi a team of ironworkers 2 usually would attach a hydraulic jack to the tails of each tendon noting the length of elongations along with lift off pressure recorded. This information was sent to the structural engineer for his review. With the blessing of the Engineer the forms could now be removed and moved to the next floor. The tightening of cables would often raise slabs at mid span 1 inch providing the required supports. Amazing that a cable so hard could be elongated 2 feet or more under pressures in thousands of pounds, depending on the length of cables. The cables would often remove the need for rebars at 8 to 10 inches. Structurally this makes the cables much more important and a failure of a single cable being 10 times more significant than a missing rebar. I was in a building under construction in 1985 when a cable broke loose. It sounded like thunder and the entire structure shook in the released energy. My inspection reveled the pathway of the cable as it ripped loose from the building and tossed a chunk of slab with it 300 yds outside the building. If this were in your living room it would kill everyone in it's exit.

The building at surfside was built in 1981, I was not there, I cannot attest to the construction means and methods of the day. I can say the building did use cables. The fact that half of the building did not fall is all the testament I need to validate means, methods and engineering of the structure. The fact that half of the building withstood this amount of stress and still standing is telling.

What I did see from the video is the event begins in the lower portion of the structure. It fails in three pieces. Center then left then right video. You can see the building designs working as the structure tries to stop the collapse. It finally wins at half way.

So what caused the failure? It was punch through around the columns in the lower floors. The slabs fall the columns are knocked down and the upper floors fell. The investigation will reveal the reasons for the punch through. I suspect corrosion of cables or their anchors.

It was not settlement in a building or concrete piles sinking. It could be a failure of the piling but very unlikely. These piles are load tested and blow count data recorded to prove bearing pressures. 

I'm not an engineer. I was there when cables took over as the industry standard in the 1980's. If your looking for the problems look at the cables first. Cables compose large portions of the buildings integrity. When one cable breaks it can and has killed people. When many break it's collapse.

 New developments in  Georgia Chain Of Custody validations or the lack of is shedding new light on the 3 November election. At stake is not only who won the Presidency but also 2 Senate Seats. The pathway to the truth requires Governor Brian Kemp to call a special session of the Georgia Legislature. This required step was ignored by Kemp and Rathesburger before the November Election when they just made up their own rules. Stacey Abrams will not be involved this time as they follow the laws in Georgia.

Refreshing to know the Governor is aware of how honest election are followed in the Constitution. Were not sure if Kemp will call the session or stalemate for the obvious reasons. So much for the claims of no proof, no evidence and the safest election in Georgia History.

The Arizona Forensic Audit is nearing an end and speculation is they have already found enough errors to reverse certifications. The canvassing will begin and this activity should determine who will go to jail and who really won in November.

 Dateline May 30, 2021:  We are living in a time of immense turmoil in the United States Of America. We The People have a long history of facing down enemies from far away lands. Memorial Day is the day, one day that we set aside to commemorate the strife and sacrifice of past generations. They were not forced to sacrifice, they chose protect the life they had been given. This freedom allows them to live in the liberty to decide how the majority of Americans will live. They make their own rules and America will live in the rewards or suffer in those same decisions. 

One should expect as time marches on each generation will make changes in the American Experience. We are not bound by past generations or autocratic dictators that suppress our freedoms. When change comes, only time will tell if changes were positive or negative.

I am a Baby Boomer and we did make change. Constitutional Amendments included. We were young and that generation reaped the rewards from the decision we made. My input today has been diminished as new Americans flex their gift of liberty. This is a celebration of the transition of power. Certainly the Founding Fathers saw the need for such flexibility. As a Boomer I see attacks not coming from foreign lands, dictators or autocrats, it comes from within our borders. We can look through our Rose Colored Glasses and criticize the past mistakes without an ounce of credit for the great deeds done a long the way. The accomplishments of past generation should never be overlooked. Theses accomplishment should be carefully surveyed by todays Americans in making changes that will shape their world. 

In the past 20 years America has had it's share of American Blunders. Starting with 2BIG2FAIL where the Government consorted with Banking to steal trillions from the Treasury and forced untold hardships to Everyday Americans. Banking by the way is the forth covert Branch of Government never mentioned in the US Constitution. This story is not finished and America will get it's due from the 2big2fail Bankers.

In light of the success of 2big2fail is it any wonder these same government bodies could organize a stolen fraudulent election successfully.  Never discount our enemies across the pond will offer billions to any disruption to American Lives. Funding dissent is much cheaper and more credible than any attempts at kinetic war. America is the undisputed leader in boots on the ground warfare.

So to the new generations take heed of what you may hear or not hear (both are equally important)  The time allotment for LYING is Momentary. The Time for truth resides in endless perpetuity. Lies are quickly forgotten. Truth is eternal and never changes. Only the truth can set you free and truth will always prevail. We are at a huge crossroads today as America Struggles with Election Integrity that addresses who can lead in the Halls Of Power in Washington. States are auditing the results of the integrity of the November 3 2021 election. Just as the malfeasance of 2big2fail took years to accomplish in the Halls of Congress, the manmade engineering of Covid 19 is merely a step in the process to put an Idiot in the White House. States breaking the Constitution and subsequent lies repeated, no evidence and no proof. The despicable Supreme Court did nothing to hear the bountiful evidence seen in each State.

 One hundred days of Jobama and gasoline hits $3.00 a gallon. Lumber has doubled and the announced rate of inflation at 4% is also double. Unemployment numbers increase even as 8 million jobs are posted by employers. The first hundred days will no doubt will be reversed in the second hundred days as America rejects the Jobama policies.

The Southern Border is an infestation of human trafficking and drug trade. The Biden Playbook is do as much damage as possible until the forensic audits are complete in Arizona, Georgia and Michigan. By this time the Supreme Court should have all the evidence and proof of fraud to remove the President and several members of Congress.

Meanwhile the Treasury has quietly announced intentions to put Biden's likeness on the Trillion Dollar Bill. At the current rates of inflation the sooner the better.

If the economy will improve the standard of living and consumer prices will drop, Don't Worry. If you question if the President is truthful, Don't Worry. If you believe the new administration will grant amnesty to millions of law breaking criminal aliens in hopes they will vote Democratic in the next election, Don't Worry. If you desire our cities will become safer and looting will cease, Don't Worry. If you wonder why since the Revolutionary War we require a Barrier Fence and Military surrounding the Capitol Building, Don't Worry.  I cannot think of anyone less qualified to discuss racism than Oprah Winfrey and the Royal Family. Not to disparage any of those who participated in the Harpo Interview. The price tag reported was CBS paid 7 to 9 million to Harpo. I'm betting this number is under reported.

Oprah Winfrey has an estimated worth of 2 Billion dollars. Harry and Meghan's net worth is estimated to 10 million. I think if we're looking for the source of systemic racism we can rule out money.  I also think the color of your skin is also not the issue. Racism is culture clash of opposing values or lifestyles. I did not tune in to the interview because I have no interest in the plight of the Rich and Famous.

Not that there is anything wrong with being rich as long as you did something to earn the wealth. Certainly Oprah Winfrey earned her way. I also defend Oprah against unproven radical rumors. 

I don't know what baggage the Royal Family is carrying but millions of people around the globe would happily change places with Harry and Meghan. Toss in many of these people have worked harder and deserve more than the Married Royals. Offers of trading places with other couples living in interracial wedded bliss would be a tough sell to Harry and Meghan.

 I know Harry's mother was taken away to early in his young life. Millions of others have been forced to play the same hand. Buck Up and Grow Up is my advice. Remember Harry Great Britain was 100 years late to ending slavery. Great Britain is who brought Slavery to America. We in America are reminded that in a Monarchy it is accepted that Royal Lives Matter More. The memory of Jussie Smollette's charades in Chicago indicate that more often than we realize systemic racism is just another lever undeserving people pull to get what others work hard to obtain. Racism takes on another image in all forms of athletics where racial equality is ignored in favor of who is strongest to represent. Seems fair in sports.

As far as reparations go Oprah and Meghan may be eligible for  Government paid Handouts from slavery, I think if any money is handed out it should go to the families of dead Civil War Veterans who died on the battlefield to free the slaves. The Civil War still the bloodiest War in US History. 700 thousand men gave it all to a group of people who largely ignore their sacrifice. We just finished another Black History Month, did you notice any mention of those who died for their benefits.

7. It's not necessary to be a legal resident.

8. You can vote in any state you wish.

Just like Georgia, vote early, vote often the State Motto.

Other news is Maricopa County, Arizona will be the first County to receive a forensic audit of certified election results. Biden only won 477 counties while Trump won 2497 counties. Biden received 81 million votes from only 17% of the Counties. This means future audits need only recount 477 Counties. Many believe this will dramatically alter Election Results to Trump!!

 Jobama declares those who don't obey. Dr. Fugazi mask mandates to be Neanderthals. When ever we debate others and they resort to name calling you have reached the limits of intelligent debate. Time to walk away with your trophy. Some politicians have stopped the unlawful demands of mask wearing. What happened to follow the science? If you believe Dr. Fugazi you have a wide selection of science to choose from. First Dr Fugazi said masks were not needed. He later reversed this decision when masks became readily available to the public. Early on masks were in short supply and he wanted medical workers protected first. Simply put Dr. Fugazi lied to you to eliminate shortages. Then it was one mask mandated. Later two, three or as many  as five masks were scientific.

Neanderthal is the new name for Biden's opposition. Added to other praises of Deplorables, Terrorist. Racists or Radicals. Pretty much anyone on the other side of razor wire and steel fence guarded by Beetle Baily. Many of the Guard were sickened from under cooked meals this week. My guess is they didn't dine with members of Congress.

Unemployment numbers changed little in February but local gasoline soared to $2.60 a gallon. The Southern Borders are under siege as aliens take control of our Borders. Even as Texas children freeze to death without adequate energy.  Biden's compassion is for non citizens breaking and entering. Borders are open Schools and the D.C. Capitol are closed under tight security.

The Government is still working under the biggest Security Breach in U.S. History. The Solar Winds Orion Software is contaminated by unknown forces. Investigations continue along with mitigation plans.

Jobama's plan to starve the private sector jobs and increase the peoples dependency on government dole is in play. The people will wait inline outside the Razor Wire to learn their fate. Costs are rising at the pump and electric meters as Trump's Energy Independence takes it's last breath. Criminal Aliens overwhelm the borders at Jobama's Invitations. I didn't vote for this Jackass and if you did welcome to what you created. The State of the Union is to bleak to admit. Until the next election Jobama will hide in the basement and blame Trump for your misery.

On the plus side Maricopa County Board of Elections is under Court Orders to release 2.1 Million election ballots to the State Legislature. In another month we can expect the forensic audits of valid ballots released with the actual results of November 3rd 2020 election. This could open the door to all other counties across the US who produced similar questionable results. We will have proof of the proof! Don't look for updates from the Media about Arizona State Legislature recount of the ballots and cross reference Dominion Machines. Ballots will for the first time be analyzed for authenticity and matched with eligibility. The new count will reverse the Election in Maricopa County and Arizona. Some news is suggesting many ballots were destroyed days before the turn over. This crime will not change the count. It will destroy evidence from criminals at Maricopa County Board of Elections.

 The Deplorables Tent grew larger today as news spread across Whoville, Dr. Seuss literature is now racists. When you cheat in the elections the public opinion becomes expendable. You can say anything you want in the basement. Oh well Boys will be Boys, uh I mean Boys will be Girls, Sorry. I think, I'm so confused. 

Mr. Potato Head is a toy I played with at the kitchen table as a child. Back in the day circa 1950 the toy was sold as a bag of assorted parts. You supplied the potato. Later models included a torso. My sister played with paper dolls also big back in the 50's. It would take a real idiot to find anything damaging about either toys. Just say idiot and someone will step forward. Now sold as Potato Head dropping the Mr. solves an imaginary problem of gender confused folks who demand everyone change to remedy the confused issues of a few people. Gone are Aunt Jemima Pancakes after 137 years of relative obscurity. If it solved a problem ok. As Jobama hurdles our civilization backwards 150 years I shutter to think about the time honored Fruit Cake's destiny. These changes are symbolic and offer no gratifications going forward. Trump declared he would VETO all Pork Spending. 

Take any noble cause and spin it into a divisive issue and reap profits from really stupid people. I'm talking about you! Known as Minority Fools is where criminals at the polls pack fraudulent ballots into machines pre programmed to pick the winners. The opposite of Majority Rules in Free and Fair Elections.  You clearly get better odds at Vegas than recent polling stations.

The $15.00 minimum wage sounds good to the stupid people. The deplorables know you will pay twice the taxes and inflation will take the rest. Your purchase power remains the same or less as jobs dwindle in a declining economy. Cutting taxes on people earning less than $50,000  creates jobs and bolsters the economy worldwide. Taking less money in tax is better than inflationary raises. Personal achievement will cause your earnings to soar. You work harder and earn more. Stupid people just don't get it. 

The story of the Farmer and the Congressman who join forces to buy and sell Hay for livestock. They buy a truck, travel hundreds of miles to buy hay for a dollar a bale. They in turn resell the hay for 50 cents a bale. The Farmer says "I don't think we made any money". The Congressman declares "getting a bigger truck will help".

The Ugly Truth is tomorrow when February Jobs Report is released. For those who read rather than blindly follow fantasy. Solving Imaginary Problems is the focus of a really stupid President.

(2) Everyone will get sick and everyone will die. Nothing could be more equal no exceptions. Everyone should be granted healthcare. I believe this concept is referred to as Single Payer. This concept is accurately considered as socialism. If it weren't for the overriding facts that everyone will have access and everyone should pay negates the premise of Socialism.

It is therefore an accounting issue rather political. Rebuilding the accounting is the core of our problems. First and foremost is that Dirty Word (Cost). Beneath that dirty word is a dirtier word (Profits) The approach to healthcare from an accounting point over the perceived Quality is often mixed. If we eliminate the Profits of Health Insures, Pharmaceutical Companies and Private Hospitals we vastly lower Costs. The insurance company's spend vast amounts of money on eligibility. Redundant Coverage Costs in overlap of coverage is unavoidable as the citizens pay premiums at Work for Home Owner's and Auto Insurance. We pay three times for the current Health Care Conspiracy.  Three times for doing the same task. Three profits and three people focused on eligibility. Eligibility goes away when we focus on Quality only. Everyone is eligible DONE.

We will no longer need Insurance Companies. We only need accounting to disperse funds. No more profits times 3. Accounting will streamline costs and prevent overcharging across the board. Health Care should be the same costs regardless of locations. Clearly not the case as egregious health care providers profits drive up costs through eligibility.  This plan coverage, that plan coverage are loopholes not to pay. Everything is covered and everybody is a member.

The Single Payer concepts is working at Medicare, Veterans Administration and Coverage for Children. With only one accountant we will establish continuity in Cost. No profits for eligibility. Once the Insurance Titans are removed controlled cost are the default.

Single Accountants will stop healthcare fraud so prevalent in todays markets. At the very least much simpler to track.

 Don't Listen to the Biden's lies regarding the XL Pipeline and his canceled permit. The argument from Biden is his plan will put Americans to work in Green Energy Jobs. Presumably Solar Wind etc,  Promoting imaginary clean air and  solve Global Warming Fantasy. I remember this fairytale when he was Vice President. They spent a Billion Dollars on a Solar Panel Investment. The name escapes me but this company claimed bankruptcy and proved catastrophic. Then took more US Dollars and Bought Chinese made Windmills and built Chinese run Wind Farms in Texas. So much for lying Biden This plan made China rich and gave them control of US Energy Grid. Texas at the moment is without power today suffering from heavy snowfall. Don't Listen to Biden!!

Disregarding the pipe and components of the pipeline are paid in advance. This is not a either or question. There is no reason why we cannot build the pipeline and build green energy at the same time.  We finish the pipeline take advantage of the 800,000 barrels daily @ $60,00 per barrel and take the profits to be reinvested in Green Energy Jobs. ECONOMICS 101. Bankruptcy is not a plan Joe.

 Saving the XL Pipeline will Effectively double jobs. Doubling economic output and bring down the cost of energy as it solidifies our Nations Energy Independence. Win Win Win
