The Mayan Calendar ends tonight at midnight. I'm not sure what to expect but, it's decidedly over for the Mayans anyway. I stopped celebrating New Years Eve many many years ago. I never go out for Amateur Hour.
Tonight however, I'm going to stay up late. Cuze, I wouldn't miss this for the world. I simply could not face myself in the morning had I slept through the end of days

Dirty Laundry

The 2012 Presidential Election is over. President Obama will be re-elected, defeating ole what's his name. The image above shows two Americans preparing to vote. One wearing red, the other blue. I'm sure this is not political theatre but, pure coincident. Even more unusual is they're voting in a laundromat.  A fitting environment for a campaign full of dirty laundry. It's apparent those who suffer in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy are equally determined to vote and have clean clothes. The image of who we are, far far from Tampa or Charlotte conventions. The image of We The People in stark contrast to the televised returns pouring in as each vote counts.

 On a personal note: I'm a veteran of many Florida hurricanes. Hot, No AC, Long Lines at the Gas Stations for weeks. I cannot comprehend how you would cope with snow. Only an American would vote under these conditions and only an American would do so at a laundromat. With utilities cut to ribbons and every resource removed we see the red,white and blue of WE THE PEOPLE following the footsteps of generations before, doing what needs to be done. The strength of our Nation our Union and Spirit.

Not perfect but far and away the greatest country the world has ever known. My problem is the determination and patriotism of those who they may vote into office. It would be impossible for me to imagine any member of the 112th Congress voting in a laundromat surrounded by destruction and death just beyond the doors. It is the contrast of We The People and Special Interest sacred cows pirating our Democracy.  Our part is done. We The People have spoken. The question remains is anyone listening or are we simply going to be pandered to another 4 years.

This election was about time rather than selections. The clock said vote and we did. It does not mean we are better off for having done so.. Big Bird and Sesame Street will continue. Wall Street will get another 4 years of uunimpeded piracy on the American economy.

The final count will be 332 Electoral votes for Obama and 206 for ole what's his name. There are many loser's and no winners. We return to a SNAFU government, of the government, for the government.

 The proof of our destiny can be found in one fact. Over 6 billion dollar was spent on the Presidential Election and not one dime was taxed. WHY?

The great election of 2012 is upon us, finally. Mitoosense has followed this election closer than any other. We chronicled the GOP primary and nearly every televised debate. When the candidates names began to surface a year ago we looked at each candidate carefully. Late bloomers Gov. Rick Perry and Herman Cain made their appearances just before the Iowa vote. There seemed to be a desperate GOP search for anyone but, Willard Romney.  The search appeared to seek out the candidate who would claim to cut taxes on corporations the most and slash regulations to ribbons. This theme trumped the obscene unemployment rate and ignored criminal invaders free ranging on American Jobs, Schools and Health Care.

Similar to Obamacare we're told this plan will fix the economy. We will then return to the wealth of the Clinton Administration, before the Bankster's stole our money through Bush Wars and Bush TARP. The field narrowed in August to billionaire Willard Romney, the media ignored Ron Paul and out of towner, Hurricane Isaac. The Big Show in Tampa was interrupted by Hurricane Isaac, the unwanted guest crashing the GOP Convention. The entire spectacle reminded me of a long drawn out episode of Gilligan's Island.

The coronation of Obama followed a week later in North Carolina. The Democratic Convention seemed to be better organized than the GOP Convention. This was a total surprise to me, Democrats could organize anything above a 2 car funeral.

After eight years of a mindless Bush Administration, followed by 4 years of disappointing Obama Administration I was convinced that We The People could and deserved better. I believe the system has failed us again. We have not produced the best candidate for We The People.                                                               

Hopefully, the big questions would surface when the rubber meets the road, between Willard and Barack. Then we would get a clear picture of each candidates positions. We did not. We got instead a slanderous attack on Sesame Street and it's henchmen Big Bird.

Barack Obama joined the fray with Big Bird and Willard. I was kinda hoping that Willard would show all his cards. Releasing his taxes and reveal his details on exactly how cutting taxes on the rich and deregulation would bring prosperity back to America. Willard joined his opponent Obama and  did neither.

Each time the GOP candidate Romney would seem to make gains in the polls Willard would do or say something that would reveal his Bane Capital Greed Streak. There was also a lot of support from other GOP Candidates, such as swimming nude in the Sea of Galilee or comments on "Legitimate Rape".

All along the way the GOP seemed to shoot themselves in the feet. This was the only time they did not  have a foot in their mouth. My hopes to replace Obama was not looking good.

Then along comes another out of towner, Hurricane Sandy. The storm of storms will have an affect on this election. Obama is front and center dealing with the needs of the Nation. Willard is pushed into the wings trying not to look as an opportunist. (see Benghazi, Libya). The election is only days away with the Electoral College biggest delegates in the heavily populated Northeast section of our country not expected to have electricity restored for weeks. Obama with the resources of the entire budget at his fingertips can hand out goodwill to voters in the name of FEMA.

Years ago there was a game show on afternoon TV where a panel of celebrities would interview three contestants to find the one who was not lying. The show went on for years before being cancelled. This election season is about exposing those who tell the truth. The problem is they are all liars.

I promised myself when the GOP convention was complete I would focus the same scrutiny upon the upcoming Democratic Convention in Charlotte.

The RNC is far better organized making criticism easier from my point of view. The Democrats are so disorganized it's difficult to find a core to be critical.

I caught a sound bite this morning on a cable news show reporting Bain Capital were nothing more than corporate raiders. When you see Cable, News and Show in a single sentence, I always advise one to be wary.

The charge is Bain and other Private Equity firms pirated the Stock Exchange in true Gordon Gekko style. Hostile takeovers of companies who had solid balance sheets but for various reason were not making good returns for stock holders. The stock drops and in steps Private Equity henchmen in the takeover.

Private Equity invest with 10 million of their own money, borrows $200 million from large banks secured on the assets of the host corporation. Once they have seized control on the Board of Directors the task of piracy begins. Private Equity immediately makes huge manpower layoffs to improve profits. The heartbeat of Research and Development is ended. Then wages and benefit packages of the employees are systematically starved. Employee Retirement accounts are raided and then eliminated. This is a story of corporate cannibalism and the prey is the middle class worker and jobs, jobs, jobs.

New loans are acquired in the cost savings provided by it's workers. The company is now burdened with huge debts and excessive management fees from the parasite Private Equity. $20 million dollar salaries are common and obscene bonuses are normal. The once profitable company is now on a fast track to bankruptcy. Investors at Bain will make average returns. The top management at Bain will make outrageous fortunes, all from the sweat of the American worker.

The profits of the host corporation are not central to the deal. The focus on the takeover is making profits from only the takeover process. Private Equity never losses a dime and the profits of the host corporation are mostly ignored in collateral damage. The host corporation's survival depends upon it's sole output from workers. The Private Equity initial investment yield returns of $200 million over 3 or 4 years.

Certainly not the story recounted by Mitt Romney on the campaign trail. Mitt's story is not a story of making fortunes raiding the middle class corporations. Mitt seems to focus on jobs that were saved and profits returned. Mitt completely glosses over the fact that the employees wage reduction, layoffs and benefit packages financed the entire story. Not upper management gurus keen sense of business.

This was not a surprise for me, the practice has gone on for many years. The Harley Davidson story was one I was most familiar. Legendary nameplates on tough times skids on the stock market and are then caught in the focus of Private Equity raiders.

The story of Bain on the campaign trail is much different than the story I read in Rolling Stones dated August 29, 2012 written by Matt Taibbi. I think everyone should read this article who intends to vote in November.

The Rolling Stone article reports on several victim corporations. American Pad and Paper, Marion, Indiana and KB Toys, Pittsfield, Massachusetts are both far removed from Wall Street in New York but, not out of reach from the pirate henchmen on the seas of high finance.

This is not intended to be a referendum on the election, Republican or Democrat. The Stone article goes on to point out this activity is first within the law. Second it points to the tax code that allows Private Equity to deduct interest payments from tax obligations. Third, Private Equity is entitled to reduced taxes 13.9% on investments versus income, also found in the tax code. The tax code is the largest weapon in the Private Equity arsenal.

Both Democrats and Republicans have had opportunities to change the tax code and stop the piracy in the Stock Markets. Obama is the accomplice to the crimes committed by Romney and the looser is We The People.

The Bain Train has left Tampa. Mitt Romney was selected by the GOP to represent on November 6. I would have preferred a candidate closer to Teddy Roosevelt. I will likely vote for Gary Johnson and avoid the 2 party system entirely. Or another lonely Tuesday night in November, eating popcorn, watching returns on TV, playing Constitutional Roulette. I refuse to accept the choices are tax cuts to imaginary job creators or building a giant government that validates every aspect of American life. I cannot in good conscience vote for any candidate who supported or voted for TARP or the Patriot Act

Clint Eastwood:

I was amazed at the performance of Clint Eastwood. His speech was completely foreign in the GOP forum. If you anticipated another heart warming account from the revival tent you would be disappointed.

Following the endless week long list of boring speakers waving the flag, recounting past personal achievements made possible from first hand American Experience. Compelling stories of immigrants coming to America revealed in the first person. Lots of I and me Soap Opera testimony.

Eastwood spoke to the audience in the third person. Detached from party affiliation speaking from his own account. Revealing the same questions every voter must deal with when the curtain closes November 6.

Clint could have spoke of his own immigrant father and childhood in California. The stark contrast between politicians in Elmer Gantry mode and Eastwood who chose to expose hard facts regarding the past four years. Clint didn't miss the chance to denigrate attorneys and politicians along the way. In a true Hollywood delivery Eastwood spoke "this land belongs to you and me. We run this country and politicians work for us". He said later he didn't want an attorney in the White House, preferring a businessman. And of coarse one for the road "go ahead make my day" straight from Harry Calahan.

The Best Quote:

The best quote of the GOP Convention goes to Rand Paul who said " We have nothing to fear except our own unwillingness to defend what is naturally ours, our God given rights.We have nothing to fear that should cause us to forget or relinquish our right as free men and women.

The Biggest Embarrassment:

The biggest embarrassment goes to the 2 conventioneers who were expelled from the floor for throwing peanuts at a black CNN Camerawoman, chanting this is how we feed our animals. The mockery was reported by several news carriers although, none describe the conventioneers race, gender or political persuasion. Wait till the Reverends get a hold of these pictures. Which will surely surface at the Democratic Convention. Why would you attack someone with peanuts who is armed with a camera?

The Biggest Lie:

The biggest lie goes to Condolezza Rice for her comment "Education is a Civil Rights Issue".Political parties have a long history of building a platform around ideas that are without facts or merit. They then build logic around the fantasy at the core to prove their flawed agenda. The entire Bush Administration is an excellent example of this tactic. Little of anything Bush did in office had any purpose or accomplishments.

Crime in America

Crime and criminals in America are always in the news. We teach our children right and wrong and what they should or should not do.

The Ten Commandments is a fine list of things we should not do. Things such as lie, cheat , steal and murder are a few. The thou shalt not's numbering 10 contain no references to thou shall do anything. I find it curious the almighty only instructs us against acts, not failure to act.

I by know means would attempt to include the 10 Commandments into accepted laws of our land. I am a firm believer in separation of Church and State. I happened to be familiar with the 10 Commandments being raised as a Christian. I assume other religions have similar mandates to follow.

One of our most infamous criminals in American history was Alphonse Gabriel Capone. Capone and his gang ruled Chicago during prohibition. The Capone crime family made most of it's income from bootlegging booze. Capone was a vicious criminal who dominated organized crime in his city. Alphonse was a very bad man indeed and we make no attempts to condone his illicit behaviors. We merely point out that he was never convicted of anything he did.

Anyone seeking to invade Capone's illegal trade would be exterminated. Because of all the money that could be made in bootlegging, Capone had many suitors. There were an endless run of those who would challenge the Capone domain in Chicago. The results were a lot of murdering of criminal challengers.

Adding to the complexity was Canada only a few miles away and accessible by boats did not prohibit distilling alcohol. Canadian Whiskey is still some of the best booze today. Most of the American distillers were forced out of business.

The Kennedy's of Massachusetts are reported to have made their fortune in bootlegged booze. They have many famous labels to their credit in today's legal booze markets.
I think it ironic, most of the crime committed by Capone would be legal today. After we passed the 21st Amendment 1933 to the Constitution, bootlegging all but stopped. To further the irony Capone was never convicted for anything he had done. Capone was convicted for something he had not done, paying income taxes. Income Tax is the 16th Amendment 1913 to the US Constitution.

The contrast of Capone who was a bootlegger and Joe Kennedy who was a bootlegger cannot be found in Income Taxes paid. I am certain Joe Kennedy never paid a dime of taxes on Old Grandad income during prohibition. Capone was tried instead in the court of public opinion from outraged citizens. Murder, prostitution and maybe gambling is the divide between Joe and Alphonse. We do have legal gaming in most states today.

The lesson here is our laws are only as good as those who support the rule. If people reject the law it will eventually vanish. More corrupt, are laws which the people do support but, find a government refusing to enforce.

At the top of this list is Immigration Laws that are ignored.
On the docket in the court room of public opinion are several laws in question. First is income taxes and collection. There is a vast number of jurors out there in America who do not support the current system. Everyone agrees we need a fair tax collection system to pay for services such as roads, bridges etc. Most of us agree our taxes should be earmarked for specific goals. We all are against creating a huge glut of money for politicians to use for slush funds for crony capitalism.

Another law punishable for not complying is purchase of Auto Insurance. We have laws that hold us accountable for liability on and off the roads. Insurance Mandates for any commodity is a conspiracy between the the authority of the people and private business.

The law in Florida provides for jail time if you don't have insurance. The law completely overlooks you may not have driven without insurance. Without any proof of having broken the law, the conspiracy between government and business assumes your guilty and revokes your tags and operators license. The result is prison for those who haven't enough money for the extortion.

They do not refund the tax paid on your tags or operator's license. Instead of credits they fine you additional penalties for renewals. The essence of the law seems to be the logic of assumptions. You will drive without insurance. You will have an accident. You will not pay for damages. You must have Insurance for coverage of things you may not and probably will not ever require. Even if you do have insurance; if the awards in court exceeds the coverage, you still owe the balance.

Today people are rejecting unfair taxes and other mandates to act, or prison time. These people are characterized as Extremists or Anarchist. They are largely people who do not commit crimes until they are forced to protect their freedoms to chose. Unfortunately when the two forces cross, the outcome can be horrific. I think we need to reconsider all laws mandating actions of free people. We never seem to have a problem agreeing on those who commit crimes. The divide seems to occur when we mandate people must act.

Two Tickets to Ride

Now that Mitt Romney has picked Paul Ryan as his running mate we have two complete presidential tickets for our selection.

On the Democrat Ticket we have Obama and O'Biden, who both voted for Bush TARP

On the Republican Ticket we have O'Romney and O'Ryan with O'Ryan voting for Bush TARP. O'Romney was not eligible to vote for Bush TARP but, has campaigned in support of the Pirate Legislation.

Does not look good for "We The People" in November regardless of the outcome of the electoral college. None of the candidates mentioned above supports repeal of the 1999 Financial Modernization Act.

How much is your $4 Pizza?

I accompanied a friend on an outing to buy tires for his car many years ago. Probably 20 years plus or minus. Wasn't doing much so I agreed to go along for the ride. Dave my friend was going to the Tire King of Florida. We arrived at the Castle/Garage and met with a guy in the showroom. We was not wearing a crown and this was my first clue this could go badly.

Dave pointed to the tires in the advertisement and ordered 4 tires @ $25 each or $100 for the set. His car having 4 wheels.

The King quickly went to work on the computer and spit out a contract sale for Dave's signature. The total was now over $200 dollars or twice the advertised price. The number of wheels was unchanged.

I will never forget the words Dave spoke when he got the bill. He said, OK, "How much is your 4$ Pizza". I thought Dave's analogy was spot on since Pizza is basically toast with tomato sauce and cheese on top. If you want pizza that's another story.

The advertised price of Dave's tires did not include the following: mounting, balancing, valve stems, disposal fee, road hazard road taxes or sales taxes to name a few. When shopping for tires or pizza it's best to have all details covered before you buy. Really now, who gets tires to go?

Last week a Pizza King made a statement; Pizza would increase 14 cents per unit price when Obama Care began the mandatory insurance. For less than half the cost of sausage pizza topping the owner can insure his employees. Better Insurance and Better Pizza from the King was my thought thinking of Dave. I quickly realized the Pizza King had no intentions of absorbing the cost of the mandated tax. The King would pass the cost onto the consumer and he actually did nothing other than the accounting.

Let me first say that I personally am against all employer deductions including Social Security, Health Insurance, Income Taxes and Unemployment Insurance naming a few. No Scrooge when it comes to the benefits of retirement, taxes or health insurance. I simply object to the accounting process and subsequent slush funds it creates at the fingertips of the 112th Congress.

I think We the People would be better served if the employer wrote our checks for the full amount and force the Banks to deduct from our checks on our discretion. All money transfers in the US are funnelled through the banks computers anyway. The Banks are the fourth covert branch of government and sleeping in the comfort of the taxpayer's nest.

Gone is the employer's burdens of verifying citizenship, health insurance, IRS, Social Security etc. No more April deadlines, confusion at the Post Office and Tax Prisons. This also improves America's ability to compete on a global scale with cheaper overhead. The Bankster's are well equipped to handle the burden with record profits and bonuses.

Yes, I remember this story was about Pizza and the 0.14 cents of increase for each pizza. My original thought was it was lower than what I would expect.

Then I remembered back 40 years when Health Insurance was free. Free in the sense it was not a deduction on your paycheck. Nothing is free and the cost to the employer is built into his overhead costs of each employee. You must exceed this output number of overhead to keep your job. If not it's always curtains on Friday.

Because of the cheap price and a multitude of people paying in with a small amount who are sick, the entire price was absorbed by the employer. Streamlining his workforce and insuring against major medical Armageddon. Not only was the employee covered but, also family members in the household.

True, some people did not carry health insurance and those who did split the burdens with the uninsured. In the end it all comes out of the US GDP somehow. The current dilemma is about accounting and has nothing in common with health care or those who are ill. Many countries provide health care without the burdens of expensive insurance moguls collecting $100 million in annual executive pays. If they bleed you hard enough they claim a bonus for your blood.

Looking back to my youth I remember going to the family doctor. You went in and expected to wait at least 30 minutes for the Nurse to call your name. There was Dr McClaren who had 3 Nurses and a Secretary that scheduled appointments and called you if you had not paid your bill timely. It was very rare that you had paid and equally rare the Doctor would call on the balance. If you were a good patient the nurse would offer a sucker for your efforts.

Everyone paid eventually. In later years the doctor would still have 3 nurses and the secretary was still there but, there were 5 additional people filling out insurance claims meeting the needs of this gorilla third party. The greedy gorilla third party was causing heath care costs to rise to cover their own greed. A self full filling prophecy. Unchanged are the proportions of people who are sick to those who are not sick. The people covered has dropped, challenging the corrupt system. Highlighting the greed is Universities now offer a degree in medical billing to complicate the matrix further.

You weren't sicker and the Doctor was not getting richer. The entire cost was being inflated because of greedy health insurance. The insurance was usually provided by the employer and unchecked costs by either the consumer or the Doctor. The more expensive the coverage the more people dropped the insurance forcing the downward spiral further. The insurance underwriter was causing costs to rise from his administration fees but, also from the imaginary hoops the Doctor and patient must now hurdle to receive payments. During the same period Dr McClaren purchased a very expensive X-Ray machine for his office. After his purchase you could expect to get a sucker and an X-Ray which are now paid by insurance coverage.

The Greedy Insurance Titan is protected from fair competition from the states authority. I have seen the system work in the past and I know it can work again. The Pirate is Insurance and the rest of this discussion is political corruption.

As far as the .14 cents per unit of Pizza? It seems to me that those who were uninsured and receiving medical care free without Obama Care are now receiving medical insurance free from the .14 cent mandate or tax increase in the pizza. As I said in the beginning it all comes out of the GDP somehow. Obama Care merely includes the insurance underwriter's corruption into the loop. I would like to know how much does Pizza go up when he donates to his favorite Political Action Committee?

I was searching recently for the idiom "The Hand Writing Is On The Wall" and it's origins. Through the miracle of the Internet I discovered the quote is generally accepted from the Old Testament, Book of Daniel 539 BCE 5;25-28, should you care to read. The hand writing on the wall refers to imminent doom according to Daniel and drug store historians.

A more recent reference is found in a poem
"The Run Upon The Bankers".
Sounding as if it fell right out of the Great Depression. No says I. The Poem was written in 1734 by Johnathan Swift from Dublin, Ireland. One verse from the poem reads:

A baited banker thus desponds.
From his own hand foresees his fall.
They have his soul, who owns his bonds;
'Tis like the hand writing on the wall.

Through out history there are many references predicting forthcoming misfortune. As well as many references made directly to "The Hand Writing On The Wall". Who knew in 2012 the wall was also a street. Wall Street certainly would not be a stretch for the prophetic words of Swift
some 278 years ago.

One cannot ignore the regularity of corruption that surfaces in the news every week. Wall Street has always been a breeding ground of deceit. In my own memory it occurred every 3 to 4 years in the last century. Since the passing of the Financial Modernization Act of 1999 the corruption has gone out of control. We are on the wrong path and can no longer ignore

The Star Spangled Elephant will parade about town with sequined rider's such a Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachman.

The Elephant will be followed with Magicians at AIG and the uncomperable Ben Bernanke, making money vanish before your eyes.

The Banksters will hand out free cardboard boxes to the homeless en route. See Donald Trump blow birth certificate smoke up a monkeys butt. Watch John Boehner and Mich McConnell make pork appear from thin air as Chief Justice Roberts turns penalties and mandates into taxes.

No parade is complete without clowns. Marvel as the clowns Bush, Cheney and Paul Ryan emerge from a tiny Haliburton Car. Mystics Janet Napolitano will predict your future with crystal balls. Yes kiddies the greatest spectacle in the GOP is coming to town.

Ring Master Newt Gingrich will amaze the crowds with daring exhibits of political smoke and mirrors. Hyperbole will be everywhere. Wild displays of exaggeration's of facts and fiction to astound you. Outrageous claims with charts and graphs for the non believers. Not since Jose Gaspar's imaginary invasion of Ybor City has a show like this been seen.

The Three Ring GOP Convention should put the annual Pirate Festival to shame. All the audience members who can prove they have a lower tax rate than Mitt will be admitted FREEEE

Ticket Master Rick Scott will check all registrations at the door and offer random drug testing to suspicious looking citizens with a low waist line. In the far left ring Rick Santorum with chair and whip only will cause wild lobbyist to jump through hoops in exchange for special interest.
In the far right wing Michelle Bachman (recently back from a Swiss shopping spree) will defy logic, offering even further tax cuts to the wealthy.

In the center ring Herman Cain will explain his 999 plans in detail. High over the heads of all the people will be Romney himself dancing on the wire about taxes and who is running Bain Capital. Kids don't miss this show because you may never see another in your life.

Say Good Knight Dick

One of our vanguards in American investments took a hit this week losing $10 million dollars a minute. Knight Capital Group estimated losses to be $440 million dollars on Wednesday from what they defined as a computer glitch. Sources revealed new computer software recently installed at Knight went haywire before the melee could be stopped.

Knights own stock fell 75% from $10.33 to $2.57. The $440 million dollar hit is in stark contrast to Knight's second quarter earnings of $289 million. Several large traders poured over Knight books indicating a possible buy out. What Earl Needs?

Another rant about the election coming in November. The candidates are disappointing on both sides. Probably more disappointing is the candidates avoiding the issues that are important. Not wishing to alienate Gay Marriage, Chic fil a or foreign banking entirely, I would simply not place them as most important problem facing Americans. It's clear these are much easier to debate without losing costly votes come election day. Important yes but, largely distraction issues to avoid the gorilla in the room.

What Earl needs is a job. We know the government cannot create jobs. To create jobs you must first have an economy. The economy is where the fingers of government travel into a myriad of sub tittles, to often focused as the core problem. They're actually the product of the problem. Focus, focus, focus. The government does have controls over the economy in tariffs, immigration and environmental standards naming a few. Not surprising all these authorities translate into real dollar values. We should recognize by now, tax collection or tax deductions provide the same wealth either way. Conversion of these factors is a voodoo science known as accounting. The Government is relied upon to control some licensing for public good, such as Doctors and Medical Care naming a few. This is a function of qualifying competency, not to increase municipal revenue or isolate some from the competition.

Allowing tax cuts to the job creators does not create jobs, ditto for government spending on wasteful capital improvements. Only when proof can be found these investment efforts will benefit with the whole being greater than the sum of the parts for everyone. Tough task indeed. Hoover Dam and Railroads were capital projects that paid off many times over. The infamous bridge to nowhere and airports for no planes are pork projects detracting money away from paying down the debts, if nothing else. This divide in current ideology is useless. Past history indicate neither works and the rhetoric is usually the product of the special interest greed, either red or blue.
What Earl needs is an economy. Certainly, we should remember our not to distant past when America was an independent nation. The shirt you wore and the shoes on your feet were made in America. Likewise your cars, television and refrigerator were all made in America. It's irrelevant whether another country can produce goods cheaper in another economy. That's not rocket science and does not support a Harvard Degree to figure out. We all worked together is commonly accepted. Did we have poor people? Yes we did. It's important to understand the poverty line and how it works. The divide is not always a reflection of the individual or his or her work ethics. The supply and demands for goods and service is reflected in the demands for products produced. These demands change over time and often are eliminated entirely through new technology. Government manipulation of supply or demand is Un-American. We the People should come first over World Trade Organization, International Monetary Funds and the like. The gyrations of Wall Street have NO IMPACT on Main Street unless both streets are in the good ole USA. Currently Wall Street is not in the United States!

America should be about building a better mousetrap. Sometimes we lose sight of our free market system and how it works. Its all based on the Lemonade Stand models. You buy materials, manufacture product and sell to the consumer. The guy with the best lemonade for the best price should win. Should not be important his race, religion or gender. Unfortunately we had to pass laws to insure against bigotry. Things that are important to us is the Lemonade Stand does not throw out his waste into the street for others to clean. Also important is the lemonade not make people sick. We depend on our government to demand product safety and clean environment. Certainly we can understand using inferior product or avoiding cleanup will increase profits. It does not make better products or avoid the cleanup. See Chinese drywall! Someone will clean the mess and the cost is the same. In our closed economy the owner of the lemonade stand would buy lemons from his local farmer and acquire property through local real estate, either rent or own. The Lemonade Stand in turn invest it's profits back into the economy.

The Government has always been responsible for roads, bridges, sanitation through the miracle of taxation. For the government to work, "We The People" must empower the government with our authority. Here is where the politician is born. Power is money. Allowing the politician with more of your money will dinish your power and increase his. In a democracy we have no kings, we have elections. Everyone should be able to cast their votes. Who may vote should be based upon minimum age and residency only. To be eligible to vote you must be of legal age and a resident. It should never be the responsibility of the citizen to prove either. It is the responsibility of the government to know who is eligible and provide identification as required to the voter. It's a safe assumption the citizen did not allow for 22 million free ranging illegals in Covert Immigration. It's against our law and our laws were not enforced because of greed. Voter registration shares nothing in common with driver's ability or retirement information. We seem to have lost sight of many of our programs in America and their intended use. Your driver's license was issued as proof of your competency behind the wheel. It doubles as a tabulation to indicate your driving history. Those who may have abused driving from speeding or accidents will suffer revocation. Your Operator's License is not for Voter Identification, Check Cashing/Banking or Retirement Information. It should be used as public information indicating your ability to drive and NOTHING ELSE. The Insurance Underwriter evaluate your premiums based upon your driving record, not punish you for not having insurance in the last six months. Should you option not to buy liability insurance then you simply have exercised your rights to spend money based upon risk and reward. I stress all insurance should be optional. If you should have an accident without insurance it could be devastating to your checkbook paying for damages. If your a poor driver it should be the responsibility of the government to revoke your Operators Permit not the Insurance Underwriter. Conspiracy between the government and Insurance Underwriters must be stopped. Separation between government and commerce is an inalienable right. Allowing Insurance dominion over Operator's License and Tags is collusion between the peoples authority and private enterprise and inflates the value of insurance. Imagine that. If disputes arise from damages awarded we have our courts system to rely upon. Simply because you have insurance does not prevent the courts from judgments over the insured values. We all have been victimized by insurance underwriters who refuse to pay, pay a lesser amount or often just paying slooowly. Insurance claims quickly become your second job filling endless forms they will always lose and proof of loss is always your responsibility. In short its a scam to increase profits.

The points I have made above are some in the current national discussion. Make no mistake about it they all can be converted into money. The election is all about money and power and whom will have it. What is certain, regardless of political persuasion the bottom line is what Earl needs. Earl needs an economy and once he has it all the a fore mentioned will vanish. What is at stake now more than ever is the existence of the American Experience here and overseas. (1273)

2Bigger2Fail TARP or Lottabull

Once we agree 2big2fail was a giant mistake, we must realize the culprits Merrill Lynch and Countrywide would only further corrupt an equally corrupt BoA.

Lehman Brothers who did fall into bankruptcy was purchased within 24 hours by Barclay's of London. Who recently are embroiled in the LIBOR scandal now rocking Europe's interest rate manipulation.
Upon the advice of Ben Bernanke, Hank Paulson and Tim Geithner we kept AIG alive as a zombie instrument to funnel cash to all the 2big2fail banks, was equally corrupt. Foreign Banks also benefited from conjured up instrument from Maiden Lane LLC and AIG with free money!
If we can agree these decisions are wrong leading America into spiraling debts. We should realize making 2big2fail into 2Bigger2Fail was a larger mistake. Realizing the logic of this decision was creation of a bigger problem from the first. The sum of the parts now greater than the Hole Logic. The Hole Logic seems to expose the Dow Jones as vastly over valued at even 10,000 points on Wall Street. The progress on Main Street being a much better barometer of the current economic Hole. This would no doubt bring clarity to the imaginary jobless recovery reported from Washington. Those of us on Main Street would naturally prefer a market less recovery and a job across the street.

Conversely, if we agree these were solid ideas and productive it would not explain the embarrassing 2012 scandal of JP Morgan Chase or Barclay's LIBOR interest rate manipulation. Indicating more Enron business models forthcoming.....

Are Traffic Fatalities on the Rise?

Some areas of the US are reporting an unexplainable rise in highway traffic deaths on America's super highways. After decades of declining death rates the new figures are disconcerting. There were an estimated 7,630 deaths reported nationwide in motor vehicles in the first quarter of 2012 up 13.5% from 6720 deaths during the same quarter 2011. Some people point to changes in speed limits that might be the cause. Others point to warmer weather or road construction. It will take years of analysis to accurately determine the sudden rise.

One might suggest the 2009 Supplemental Appropriations Act might be the cause. You may not remember the federal legislation under that name. The spin in the news was cash for junk cars or C.A.R.S. Car Allowance Rebate System 2009. (118) (1)

Everyone remembers cash for junk cars in 2009. The idea sprung in Congress from the 750 billion dollar Stimulus and Recovery Act. The idea was to accomplish several needs at once using the same funds. Effectively killing several birds with one stone. First was to increase demand in the dismal auto production numbers putting people back to work. The second was cleaner environment demanding new cars have higher fuel economy and systematic junk removal of gas guzzling cars from our highways. Presumably safer now for all Americans. Cleaner air from less gas burned, energy independence from foreign oil and junk removal for a cleaner landscape. The Cash For Junk Cars was successful in nearly 700,000 auto junk removal units at a cost to the taxpayers of about 3 Billion dollars US. (241) (6)

In the heart land State of Indiana traffic fatalities are up 24 deaths from the same period a year ago. The Indianapolis Police Dept. aided by the Indiana State Troopers are cracking down on speeders in Indianapolis. Indianapolis is notorious for its lead footed drivers. Home to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Indianapolis Raceway Park and Nascar's Indianapolis Brickyard 400.

Indianapolis is a good city to sample changes in trends. Indianapolis with a large metropolitan area in a very rural surround. Indianapolis is also neutral in climate, not considered a Northern city or deep South. The citizen of Indianapolis are a good demographic in a ethnically diverse population. It should be interesting to see if the traffic fatality rates can be lowered from better speed controls. Indianapolis is also home to a large automobile manufacturing centers building the new high mileage vehicles. The big three GM, Ford, Chrysler and Navistar all employ thousands of Hoosiers in Indianapolis.

We think the government Cash for Junk Cars may have a negative effect in fatal crashes nationwide. The older cars may have consumed more fuel, pumping out dirty emissions but, the heavier autos may prove to be safer on the highway. The older junk removal units cannot be brought back either. Once the customer traded in for the newer model the old car was scrapped. (418) (19)

Once the old junk removal units are scrapped Indianapolis foundries will melt down the waste and recycle into new products including automobiles. The government sponsored Cash for Junk Cars was implemented through Congressional authority to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration or N.H.T.S.A. the very same authority responsible for tabulations of traffic fatalities on our highways. Certainly safety would be their highest priority. The Cash for Junk Cars as well as junk removal of units from the environment may be denying them of their primary goal pushing unsafe cars onto the public. (500) (25)

Tax Secrets of the Filthy Rich

Yahoo reports today there is an estimated 21 trillion dollars  of tax free money hiding in  offshore Private Banks and Pirate Banks. Not sure what the difference is between the two but, reasonably sure it's minimal.
The difference between Stinkin Rich and Filthy Rich is Stinkin Rich pay some taxes to operate as honest citizens until they accrue enough cash to be Filthy.
CNBC is also airing the news of the hidden 21 trillion cash on cable today. Other reports today are for 32 trillion indicating nobody is quite sure. The only names given thus far is Mitt Romney has revealed some assets in foreign banks having paid US taxes. There is no proof Mitt does not have money in Pirate Banks unreported. We just don't know. Story here is we're not supposed to know. The cat is out of the bag most likely due to election season. This does not mean the reports are not true.
Mitoosense reported on 16 trillion of secret loans to US 2big2fail banks from the US Treasury at a whopping .001 % interest, without Congress approving. The money transferred through the Federal Reserve discount window making it legal, not ethical. We should audit the Federal Reserve. The 16 trillion was later revealed as 7 trillion or much more than a 750 billion TARP or Stimulus.  Not sure how much this is because these numbers become irrelevant over a million. Be my guest to divide how many times $750 billion will go into $16 trillion. The market is down today for the  3rd day indicating the possibility of another collapse. I'm kinda hoping the markets crash and we cause a market less recovery as a opposed to the current jobless recovery we enjoy today.
The next time you hear the discussion on the job creators and how much they should not pay in tax, remember, many are not paying any taxes at all.

State Penn

NCAA announced this morning a $60 million dollar fine and other sanctions against Penn State University. Mitoosense reported on the Sandusky arrest last year. We had no intentions of further scandalizing the issue.
I was shocked  to learn today Penn State and other schools would have enough money to pay a $60 million dollar fine. Perhaps this may be an indication of why the crimes took place and then ignored by Penn State officials.
Graham Spaniers salary was reported to be $545 thousand a year. A pile of money but, I thought it would be more. College tuition's are highest ever and students are forced into long term debts to pay off loans. If schools are kicking around this kind of cash maybe the problem is much bigger than Sandusky? In addition the $60 million fine paid to the NCAA goes where exactly? Sounds like a windfall from one greedy pocket to another! I would favor instead Penn State lower their tuition $60 million along with other schools and the NCAA authority.

Obama steps in it and Romney punts on taxes

President Barack Obama really stepped in a pile this week. In a speech in Roanoke, Va  Obama spoke to a crowd  gathered that will forever be remembered as "You didn't build that". Sound bites from his speech are seen below on this blog. We will call it the Roanoke Address.
The gist of his rant is heaped in no man is an island and therefore we all depend on each other along the way. Most logical people would agree. Most would not agree we do not and should not depend on the government for anything. The government is only empowered to return what was ours originally.
I thought it important enough to read the White House transcript of the speech in Virginia. Much was said and most of it historical flag waving. Historical but the last 4 years is left out.

If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help.  There was a great teacher somewhere in your life.  Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive.  Somebody invested in roads and bridges.  If you’ve got a business -- you didn’t build that.  Somebody else made that happen.  The Internet didn’t get invented on its own.  Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.

Mitoosense:
As you can see the quote "you didn't build that" is unclear if he refers to building roads and bridges or If you have a business. If Obama is referring to roads and bridges then Obama is wrong. simply because you did not pay for every road and bridge does not indicate your a free loader. If you ever bought a gallon of gas or tires for your car, license plates etc you paid for same. One thing that is certain government never built a road or bridge or Internet. Every asset of the government came from We the People. This is central to most of the misunderstanding of bureaucrats. They take it from us but it returns as a gift and always with strings attached.
If Obama is referring to your business then he still very wrong. Every business is burdened with License, Fees and Permits. Obama has been taking for so long he has lost sight of those who put in the coffers.
There are many ways to give back and the worst is to give it to a politician. Obama had his turn to bat and its time to let another hitter in the Oval Office. Glad you killed Bin Laden great job, but not a single banker in jail and Obama Care is employer based Oligopoly nightmare.
Obama mentions the leadership and sacrifice of those who served in World War Two. When you compare 1945 to 2012 the first issue you will remember is Commercial Banks and Investment Banks and Insurance and Stock Brokerage were firewalled in the Glass Steagall Act 1934. Comparison is impossible because in 1945 we were on the Gold Standard of Bretton Woods. One Hundred years ago Teddy Roosevelt was busy passing legislation to stop 2big2fail and TARP from ever occurring. The advancement made by Muckrackers in early 1900 lasted until we entered the global unfair trade markets that have brought an immediate return of the Gilded Age and Robber Barons Something for you to chew on Mr President.

This week has not been good for Mitt Romney either. It  seems Romney has a bit of a gaffe of his own. When he reported to the American people he left Bain Capital he was filing forms with the SEC he was sole owner and CEO at Bain. The period in question was for three years of filings. The Romney taxes would certainly clear up the discrepancy in the Romney/Bain memory banks. He is no doubt a liar! About what we're not really sure. The Romney Campaign is steadfast in not releasing any further tax information. I think a bit silly cuze I would vote him in to get Obama out if he were the Anti Christ. That's just me though.

We can see a definitive clear divide in the candidates ideology. Obama wants to raise taxes on the rich and Romney will offer even further tax cuts to the wealthy. I prefer to overhaul the tax system and eliminate the divides between business and citizens and charge everyone a flat rate that pays the bills. Eliminate the IRS having the Bankers deduct money from all transfers, pay in the Social Security etc and skip employer based deductions completely. Business owner is no longer the whipping boy of the IRS and not responsible for checking citizenship of employees. No more April 15, deadlines and tax prisons.

The bankers are the 4th covert branch of government anyway, they have the resources to instantly to decipher deductions determine citizenship and pay the government. Special Interest lobbyist will vanish. We hope.

Mitoosense does not wish to offend either party. You can vote for either party. I'm voting for Gary Johnson and pray for the best. These guys above are both out.

Obama: If You've Got A Business, You Didn't Build That

The Good, Bad and Ugly

Freedom of Speech and the 1st Amendment got a boost today. Yahoo reports that 50 year old John E. Brennan was acquitted of indecent exposure for removing all his clothes in the Portland, Oregon Airport. Mr Brennan lost his clothes and exposed his junk to protest the TSA violating his rights in the 4th Amendment Illegal Search and Seizure. The Oregon Judge supported Mr Brennan right to protest under the US Constitution 1st Amendment freedom of speech. I'm betting the judge would feel differently had Mr Brennnan exercised the same rights in the Portland courtroom.
 Samuel Williams from Marion County, Fl made the news recently when the 71 year old foiled a armed robbery attempt at the Palm Internet Cafe.  Two masked men entered the Cafe to rob the patrons of their valuables. One armed with a firearm and the other wielding a club began threatening the customers demanding loot. The video below shows their brash behavior entering. When customer Samuel Williams began shooting they did not return fire. Choosing to run like rats grabbing lots of carpet on the way out the door. News reports both men Davis Dawkins and Dwayne Henderson were found in a nearby hospital suffering from gun shot wounds, presumably from Ole Sam.
One county over another story without a happy ending. Lake County Florida Sheriffs knocked on the  front door of  Tavares resident 26 year old delivery man Andrew Scott in the middle of the night. Sheriff's without warrants or announcing they were with the Sheriffs Office murdered Andrew at his front door because he answered his door with a gun. The 2 Deputies were not searching for Scott when Deputy Richard Sylvestor fired the shot killing Scott. Very disturbing, a spokesman for the Lake County Sheriffs Office was quoted at the scene, The bottom line here is if you answer your door in the middle of the night with a weapon the unidentified officers will kill you. This statement seems legitimize the conduct of the Sheriff to murder citizens in their homes.  A quantum leap in vigilante justice.
Mittosense believes the US Constitution 2nd Amendment gives you the right to bear arms. It has no provision or clause to exempt the 2nd when police are present. Further, Mr Scotts 4th Amendment Illegal Search and Seizure were violated since there were no warrants issued for the Scott residence. This is a pure case of murder and a trial should be held for Deputy Sylvester and deceased Scott.
We would hope the Lake County Sheriff will act swiftly and not wait 45 days as Sanford Police did in the Trayvon Martin murder in neighboring Seminole County. There also seems to be a lack of qualified law enforcement in central Florida being Martin, Lake and Seminole Counties share borders.
In Colorado  24 year old James Holmes was arrested in the murder of  a dozen victims in a Aurora, Co. movie theatre. The cold blooded killing of 12 people indiscriminately murdered for no apparent reason is beyond any logic. Our prayers are with the people in Aurora and Tavares who lost loved ones from violence. It it our duty to see that swift justice is carried out in accordance with our laws.

Heightend State of Hypocrisy

The photo depicts (D) Harry Reid and Chinese Windmill manufactures who just received a $450,000,000 million dollar contract to supply, install and operate wind farms in the West. The funds came from our Stimulus Act. Even though Harry Reid seemed to be a central player in the deal the cash actually came from tax dollars and debt, most of which is supplied by the Chinese. You will note Senator Reid appears to be quite satisfied with the big deal with the Chinks. Not overlooking the American worker is completely ignored in the jobs to build , install and operate the wind farms. We seem to have cut a deal that brings more debt to the taxpayers and more interest payments to China. We upset the trade balance even further and deny American Manufacturers to participate in new technology green energy. Worse we allow the Chinese to profit from the  installation and operation  of the wind farms for nevermore.
Why is this important today? In today's news is an angry Harry Reid from Nevada (same guy) bashing the purchase of US Olympic Uniforms supplied by Ralph Lauren but, Made in China. In his angry delivery this morning he said " I wish they would put them all in a pile and burn them" The Chinese spokesman answered the charges with a patronizing reply paraphrasing " The Olympics are not about politics and the US is guilty of bringing Nationalism into the games". The Chinese Competitors Uniforms were also  "Made in China" a glaring revelation in our balance of trade with the Chinks.
I thought the charges of Nationalism a bit humorous noting all the flags on display on every uniform and the Anthems always present when the competitors file in. One would hope all the American Flags displayed are Made In USA but, also doubtful.
 I must admit I personally did not care for the uniforms chosen from Ralph Lauren. The hypocrisy of Harry Reid is more than I could stomach and forces me to remind readers of the photo of Harry and his Chink buddies in happier times. The Nationalism I suspect will fade after the election and Harry will return to his day job of Greedy Politician.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

The Banksters are at it again. Or maybe I should just say they're being caught again as the stealing never really stopped. Barclays who bought up Lehman Bros in 2008 is in the news for fixing interest rate at the European LIBOR. Same people who took down the American Financial Banks are up to no good at Barclays in London.
We here in America have not dodged the bullet.  In the news Chase Bank and JP Morgan Chase lost 6 billion in derivatives trading recently.  The amount of losses changes weekly and varies from 2 billion to 9 billion in estimates. Estimates are always used in the absents of knowing what your doing or unable to tell the truth. The 3 piece suit has become the uniform of a modern day Privateer. Pirates were all Privateers until the King dissolved the agreements and they chose a life of crime on the high seas. One day our King will also dissolve the current banking system and Bankers will return to being common thieves again. New York and its Financial Markets and Rating Agencies will slide into the Atlantic where it belongs.
If you remember Jamie Dimon and Company took over Bear Stearns in 2008 for the same scandal on a larger scale. Bank of America acquired the thieves at Countrywide and Merrill Lynch with funding provided from the corrupt New York Federal Reserve and imaginary instruments such as Maiden Lane LLC were conjured up to solve any accounting problems.
AIG the bag man who wrote unsecured insurance on Bundled Mortgage Securities announced today its suing the government over taxes paid way back in the 90's. You may remember this period as The Savings and Loan Fiasco or Read My Lips. Anyhow AIG who should have been declared bankrupt and liquidated was allowed to survive as an instrument to save what was left of our 2big2fail Banks who insured worthless mortgage securities with AAA ratings from our finest institutions Moody's and Standard and Poors equally corrupt. By funding AIG from funds from the US Treasury, the money would trickle down to Goldman, Chase, BoA, Citi etc etc etc. Even foreign Banks got money from the Fed via AIG.
This may all sound repetitious but, it is not. This is a new round of stealing with the Dodd-Frank Act and SEC watching. We were all promised a new law with greater authority at the Treasury Department would prevent the stealing by the suits. The truth is well documented in the F.C.I.C Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission implemented by Congress. Mitoosense reported on the FCIC back in January of 2011 for those who wish further information.
One cannot address dirty rotten scoundrel without mention to those who make it all possible. Barack Obama and the 112th Congress. Yep, they're all guilty. Starting with Barack Obama I remember back to his campaign of 2008. In the heat of the meltdown. In my memory the campaign of Hope and Change included tossing the Banksters in jail, return of manufacturing jobs from China, investment in green energy, creating high paying jobs with new technology. Ending of the Bush tax cuts and Patriot Act and   Border Control as a high priority to immigration. Stopping the insurance practice of pre-existing conditions and cancellation of policies to name just a few. Four years later the Hope and Change looks bad and smells worse. This is my blog so we work from my memory based upon what I heard and not everything that was said or claimed to have been said,
Not a single banker was thrown in jail. The Dodd_Frank Act was a band aid on a heart attack and regulates the citizens and validates Graham Leach Bliley, 2big2fail TARP and trickle down Reaganomics.
Obama has all but ignored his promise to return jobs from overseas. His administration bought Russian made helicopters and windmills from China. GM built new factories in China with money from TARP and Americans were handed out menial jobs caulking windows in urban homes that should have been razed. Obama pumped a half a billion into Solyndra only to see their products undercut by Chinese knockoffs in unfair US trade practices. Solyndra went belly up. No jobs and we bought windmills from China remember.
Obama extended both Bush Tax Cuts and Patriot Act. He has allowed the Bush Covert Immigration to continue allowing 22 million free ranging criminal aliens access to jobs and entitlements in America. His proposed Dream Act would simply allow citizenship to those who violated our laws the longest and provides for no control of the systemic issues. Obama and Attorney General Holder have sued states attempting to control the infestation and Fast and Furious gun walking sales of weapons to drug lords has made all of America unsafe.
The Obama Care is a failure on all levels. Beginning with being employer based, mandatory and unconstitutional in my mind. I'm sure that everyone is tired of reading this garbage and I am tired of writing about the garbage. The reason of coarse is nothing is done about the garbage. Affordable Care Act

The Affordable Care Act passed muster with the Supreme Court this week. The controversial legislation is  employer based and contains the mandate citizens must purchase or suffer a penalty. One would question the logic if you go to prison for not buying health insurance, you are doomed to free health care as punishment.
 Mitoosense was already suffering from Post Dramatic Stress Disorder resulting from Chase Bank loosing 9 billion at the Congressional Casino, followed with Fast and Furious contempt of congress vote aginst Eric Holder. Then the news came from the High Court, Obamacare was legal. Everyone expected the Court to shoot down the mandate and kill the Law. I think I'm gonna be sick.
Instead the high court threw a curveball and deemed the mandate was a tax, and therefore legal. It opens another door, is the tax unconstitutional? Can Congress force citizens to buy anything or be taxed? When employers buy group health insurance they often get sweetheart deals including costs or coverage based upon nepotism common in corporate America, thus avoiding the tax and out of pocket expenses. Another fine example of Corporate Wealthfare. God answered with floods, fires and blowing down the Congressional Golf Coarse in Maryland. I didn't know they had a golf coarse, silly me.
The ruling places the legislation high on the unwanted list with the Patriot Act and Iraq War. Similar to the Patroit Act the name shares nothing in common with the law. A vast majority of citizens were against Obamacare but, we got it anyway. The 111th Congress will be long remembered for representation in taxation. The 112th Congress will be remembered for skeet shooting all forward motion until further notice. Content with we ain't doin a budget, we just spend money we don't have and raise the debt.
  No one is sure how the healthcare will operate. For sure nobody in Congress has read the 2700 pages of how you will pay for healthcare of others, while forcing you into servitde to an employer and guranteeing the giant Insurance Titans will continue to mandate costs to protect selfish obscene profits.
Only Congress can take noble causes such as retirement and healthcare and twist them into a cocktail of another Oligopoly Conspiracy to indenture citizens to servitude. Little benfits mixed with huge losses of personal freedoms found in the first paragraph of the Constitution.

National Discussion

Today is the first day of Summer, the longest full day of the year and marks the Summer Solstice.  This is only significant  if your a Pagan follower of Stonehenge or Mayan. Also noteworthy is my Mother's birthday, so Happy Birthday Mom you completed another trip around the giant Sun orb.
I reported 3 weeks ago not much interesting to write about in the political arena. Not that things have gotten better. Nothing has changed or improved on important issues facing America.
The downward spiral of the American lexicon has slowed a bit under Obama. Obama still insists to lead us further down the wrong path. To say Obama is better than Bush is not an endorsement from Mitoosense. I fear Romney will follow the same identical path of Bush and Obama.
 Remembering, Obama allowed the Bush Tax Cuts to continue when he took office and then signed extension of the  Bush Patriot Act. Obama validated Bush TARP and 2big2fail with Dodd-Frank legislation that regulates the citizen and ignores the Oligarchy destroying our American way of life.
The Bush Covert Immigration Doctrine that allowed illegal criminal aliens to free range on American jobs and entitlements continues under Obama. Bush who described these invaders as "people who do jobs most Americans don't want"  ignores the reality we seem to have done fine for 300 years without Bushes always incorrect assessment.
Obama is quietly waiting for the election before pushing for illegals to receive amnesty and receive citizenship over enforcing the law of the land. Obama and Holder brought suits against states who passed legislation to control the foreign infestation in their state.
Obama spent more Bush TARP bailout money and continued the Bush bailouts of the private sector Airlines, Banksters and Auto Czars.
 Nothing has been done to bring accountability to government corruption systemic at the Treasury Department or The Justice Department. We have witnessed scandal after scandal in the MMN, FAA, TSA, FDA. USDA, and SEC. Obama like his predecessor is very good at describing what happened and why it happened in true Monday Morning Quarterback fashion. Nothing is done beyond admission of the SNAFU in government.
Obama saw the Obama Care landmark health care act pass. The un-constitutional legislation that regulates the citizen and reduces Americans to Indentured Servants of the Oligarchy gripping America.
Obama's record only shines in foreign policies on both Bush Wars and killing Osama Bin Laden. Otherwise Obama is a Bush clone leaving voters holding his bag full of  "Hope and Change"
More unsettling of the issues being ignored are the topics they actually are  debating. Hot item today are Attorney General Eric Holder who is entangled in the gun walking covert Justice Department program titled Fast and Furious. Just the name is ridiculous. If we had border control and enforced our immigration laws on the books there would be no need for catching drug lords of third world countries. The entire spectacle is fallout from the bigger issue of Border Control. We are focused upon treating the illness and ignoring the source of our disease. Obama who was a critic of the Bush Administrations abuse of "Executive Privilege" today joins Bush hiding beneath the Presidential Seal of "We the People"
Attorney General Eric Holder has been inept at prosecution of Guantanamo Detainees. Unable to finalize the proper venue and locations.
We debate the merits of other peoples business in whom may marry whom and women's reproductive rights, as if Congress were pregnant and about to be married. I think they just enjoy bringing their ignorance to the masses. It also makes a great distraction to the citizens who are not working regardless of gender, race or sexual orientation. Jobs Jobs Jobs is a nut that can only be cracked by destroying the Oligopoly system. To "ALLOW" jobs to flourish (not create) you must sacrifice the government regulation of the citizens and dismantle Wall Street 2big2fail TARP babies that make the market dance with puppeteer Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke. Main Street is sacrificed as the Obama administration continues to fail to create good jobs within the covert Oligopoly perimeter established in Congress.
The same issues written in March of 2009 have not been corrected. There has been no change and we are in worse shape because we traveled farther down the wrong path.
We need change and Hope will take care of itself. Mitoosense will likely support libertarian Gary Johnson for president. For sure he can't make things worse!!!

Down and Dirty



Much of our focus recently at Mitoosense has been on this years vegetable garden. We got an early start April 4, 2012. The results of a mild Winter and early Spring.  The size of the garden increased from   17 'x 30' last year to 20' x 150' with another 20' x 50' still to be planted, should I survive. The benefit of our close neighbor and his John Deere 7410. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with John Deere products the 74 refers to 74 Clydesdale's equivalency. The 10 relates to the power of 10 illegal aliens. Truly a large machine capable of turning, plowing, disc and furrowing in a single 20' wide swath.
Planted this year are Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Zucchini, Crooked Neck Squash, Bell Peppers, Jalapeno Peppers and Butter Beans. With the increased size we also included Corn, Cabbage, Cantaloupe, Red Potatoes, Sweet Peppers, Green Beans and Sun Flowers.
For those who have an interest in the location, we are located conveniently off exit 719  East Remote. Traveling about 35 miles just outside of Nowhere. Many people ask "do we get Mail out there". Of course we get Mail. I always check to see if its one of ours also.  Nowhere is not to be confused with Knowhere which is in Georgia.
Nowhere is a small town rich in heritage. Known for being represented on both sides of the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. It is also famous for the only known monument erected to the television show Hee Haw. Look for the monument across the street from Junior Sample's Used Cars and Tractor Museum, located downtown. Nowhere is also a notable leader in plastic Yard Art uncommon in more Urban settings. Residence often go a little overboard on the plastic figures each year when they celebrate the Fire Ant Festival and Parade. We often get visits from celebrity Jack Hanna and National Geographic.
Nowhere was once a prosperous farm community that fell victim to the Industrial Revolution Exodus of residence fleeing to better jobs in the cities. Similar to the residence of Roanoke the descendants were thought to have vanished. Recent DNA evidence indicates these people are now Bar Tenders and Lawn Care Professional, since we exported our manufacturing jobs to China.
If you wish to visit Nowhere we suggest you stop at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant at Exit 719 East and hire a guide and interpreter. If your interested in culture  the McDonald's is located in nearby Oblivion.
Getting back to the garden, the early planting has afforded an earlier harvest projection this year. However, it has also posed many new unseen problems from last years drought ridden crops. The threat of frost is always a danger. More common are heavy rains, high winds and flooding from TS Beryl. The  warm weather and wet Spring has produced a plethora of weeds. In addition we suffered several equipment failures this year due to inclement weather. The handle of the hoe broke and has been repaired twice. It was a cheap, dirty hoe that I should have avoided.  My hoe and rake are referenced as (cultivator) C-1 and C-2 the shovel is marked as D-1 to keep things in proper order.
 Weeds are defined as plants that thrive in any climate wet or dry and neither animals or insects will eat. Safe to say their only enemy is me and I am vastly out numbered. Weeds cannot be killed. I have found the best way to propagate weeds is to dig them up with a hoe, bending down and ripping the roots out with your fingers, then casting off to a sun baked dry barren earth and stomping about with your boots. Followed by a good beating with a wood club or iron instrument. This will always produce two healthy weeds. The donor weed grows back and the new weed grows in a new location. Chopping the weeds will only produce more and smaller weeds exponentially.
The mild Winter has also been enjoyed by the insects. We have a great crop of bugs this year to inherit my hard labor. New bug this year are the Potato Beetle and Bean Bugs. We did not have beans or potatoes last year so they were simply not invited. If you plant it they will come. As I work in the garden the occasional car passes by looking and wondering what I might be doing in the hot sun. I can only say, I share the same thoughts. I am truly, finally considered outstanding in my field.
So if you suffer from a inflated ego and Golf isn't working for you. If your thinking of a visit with the Dali Lama and becoming a reclusive Monk. Try gardening. It may be all you need to adjust your attitude.

Great Depression part 2

Mitoosense has been quite for several months. The silence is not from a lack of enthusiasm but cool on the current National Discussion. It appears the Presidential lineup is near completion with Romney facing Obama. Clearly we have a fine choice of whom to vote against in 2012. There is precious little optimism of who to vote for. Reason to vote against Romney range from; I finally get a chance to Fire Mitt Romney, to his plans for tax cuts for his Cronies.
 Obama is well equipped also with a plethora of reasons to vote him out. At the top would be, not one banker was put in jail. He signed to extend the Bush Tax Cuts and Patriot Act. He validated 2big 2fail with Dodd-Frank then forced Obamacare down the throats of all Americans when 66% were against the Employer Based Legislation. Obamacare, in the end regulates the Citizens and ignores the piracy of Medical Insurance.
We have Eric Holder selling guns to Mexicans. Corruption at the SEC, FAA, USDA, FDA, MMN and suits brought against states for attempting to control Criminal Free Ranging Aliens crossing our borders. The pending Dream Act will simply validate the crimes and not solve any systemic issues. A real vote getter, I'm thinking. Still embedded in our minds is the memory of Deuce Bush and Cheney's administration of the bogeyman is gonna get you. The Bogeyman turned out to be  Deuce Bush who got us all.
Ben Bernanke announced last week our US economy was headed for a fiscal cliff  December 31, 2012. Citing the iminent sunset of Bush Tax Cuts and the mandatory spending cuts written into the infamous Debt Ceiling legislation and subsequent failure of the Super Committee to reach consensus of how best not to throw money in or out the window at the US Treasury.
The statement from the Chairman was if Congress did not Act the weak economy would stumble over a cliff and no imaginary strings of the Federal Reserve could avert an economic collapse. Not Good News considering we are entrenched in an election year with the autistic 112th Congress. After the election the 112th Crisis Congress will have just sixty days to avoid the Bernanke Prophecy. Should make another great Dog and Pony Show.
If we can all remember for a moment back to Bush the First we recall the Graham Leach Bliley Act written to unleash the demons sequestered in the 1934 Glass Steagall Act. The deregulation of Banking first made popular by Ronald Reagan continued on until the last nail in the coffin was signed by President Bubba Clinton.
Basically my interest in Graham Leach Bliley is it allowed Investment Banks, Commercial Banks and Insurance Companies to operate under a single ownership umbrella. The 1934 Glass Steagall Act prohibited this activity as the central cause of the Great Depression. Honestly, after the Bush the First infamous Silverado Savings and Loan debacle we should have seen this one coming. The Greed was simply too great to ignore. We the People picked up the the tab in the infamous Bush quote " Read My Lips, No New Taxes".
 Bush's son Neal Bush was convicted and fined before going on to making millions in the mandatory  Duece Bush's signature legislation of No Child Left Behind.
The arguments made against Glass Steagall were that modern banking philosophy could avert another Great Depression through manipulation of Interest rates and money supply.
These theories have been tested in the housing debacle created from the conspiracy of Investment Banking, Commercial Banking and Insurance explosion of 2007.  You will remember all the major banks and Insurance Underwriter AIG were handed the keys to the Treasury creating the illusion the new Houdini Dollars printed made the system solvent again. Even claiming The TARP money was repaid in many instances with interest. The truth buried deep in Treasury Accounting, Interest paid on free money invested in Treasury Notes and the Secret Fed Discount Window hidden from the 112th Congress. The result in contrast is the definition of Modern Banking Philosophy as the better known acronym of 2big2fail ushered in under Bush. Paulson, Geithner and Bernanke team. With the free money window open why not go ahead and bailout GM, Fiat and Airlines.
More truth revealed the so called TARP, Banking Philosophy and 2big2fail did a cracker jack job of making the stock markets rise. After all this may have been their only consideration ignoring Main Street, the Middle Class and rubber stamping the highest poverty rates since 1930.  It appears to this writer that only some were spared the Second Great Depression and most are still feeling the pressure of TARP or 2big2fail.
There is some good news. This year with the help of a 7410 John Deere tractor the garden will be enormous at 20ft x 100ft. Cucumbers, Zucchini, Squash, Corn and Peppers already sprouted from seeds not plants. Growing from seeds further enhances the bounty in both costs and rich nutrients from fresh foods.....
